Angie Li is a senior at Hunter College studying Community Health and minoring in Asian American Studies. As a community health student, she is interested in exploring the social determinants of health that impacts racially marginalized groups. She hopes to contribute to public health interventions and help spread awareness in the prevention of diseases, especially in the Asian American community. She is currently working in a Saturday recreation program run by Hunter College, Project HAPPY, as an Adapted Sports Counselor. As an Adapted Sports Counselor, she provides assistance in physical activities and sports to children and young adults with disabilities.
